William Buckley

Will is a Client Director at Strabens Hall.

Will joined the firm in January 2021 and provides his clients with general wealth planning advice.

Will started his career in Finance as a derivatives trader and options market-maker on trading floors in both Sydney and London.  More recently, he has worked in equities research for a firm that specialised in Global Emerging Markets, where he was responsible for business development in EMEA and parts of Asia.  Will has previous business experience as an owner and operator of SMEs in both USA and UK.  In the more recent past, Will has been the managing trustee of an agricultural estate in Hampshire for nearly a decade.

Will is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and Chartered MCSI. He holds the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (DipPFS) and AF7 – Pension Transfers with the Chartered Insurance Institute. William also holds the STEP Certificate in Financial Services (Trusts & Estates).

Outside of the office William enjoys fly-fishing with his son, curing meat and cooking for family and friends.
