Philippa Armitage

Philippa is a Senior Investment Director within Strabens Hall’s Investment Consulting Team.

Philippa has spent all her career in investment. After graduating, she joined Robert Fleming where she worked in the US, European and Emerging Markets as an investment manager. Her most challenging role was to create, launch and manage one of the UK’s first Emerging Markets funds.

More recently, she worked for a private client wealth manager before setting up her own consultancy business which helped clients to find the right investment manager for their needs. She has also worked on making investment more accessible to those without previous experience.

At Strabens Hall, she is part of the Investment Team which advises clients and their families on the best solution for their investment assets.

She is a Chartered Member of the CISI (MCSI) and has a Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (DipPFS). She is also a Trustee of Dementia UK.

In her spare time, she thoroughly enjoys family life, her dogs and her garden. She plays bad golf, reasonable bridge and skis when she can.
